Frequently Asked Questions

We typically aim to ship orders within 1-2 business days. Please note that we do not ship on weekends. During high-volume sales periods, such as big promotional events, shipping times may extend slightly by an additional day or two.

Yes, Modern Aminos ships to the USA and the EU. For customers in the EU, please visit our dedicated EU site at modernaminos.eu to place your order.  We are unable to deliver to U.S. Territories, including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, or to U.S. Military bases.

Once your order leaves our facility, it is the responsibility of the shipping carrier to deliver your package. While it’s rare, there are occasional delays where packages may not move for 5-6 days but still arrive successfully.
If your package has not shown any movement for 10 days, please contact us, and we will investigate. If necessary, we will reship your order at that point.

If your order is missing items, we will gladly reship them to you free of charge. Please email us at cs@modernaminos.com with your order number and details.
For damaged items, you are entitled to either a refund or a replacement. To help us process this quickly, include a photo of the damaged product(s) in your email.

What if I don’t receive an order confirmation email?

Occasionally, order confirmation emails may fail to send due to technical issues. If this happens, please email cs@modernaminos.com with your order number. We will promptly provide your confirmation and tracking details. Make sure to also check your spam folder as at times they can go there.

This is a rare system error that can occur. If you encounter this issue, please email our customer support team at cs@modernaminos.com, and we will promptly ensure that your order is confirmed and processed correctly.

Under no circumstances are our products to be used by or on humans.

Peptides should be stored in a cold environment, such as a refrigerator, to maintain their integrity and reduce degradation over time.

Most amino blends can be stored at room temperature. However, exceptions like glutathione and NAD+ should be stored in a cold environment to ensure their stability and effectiveness.

No, our compounds do not expire. They are designed to last over a year, and even beyond that point, they may only experience slight degradation rather than becoming ineffective.

Why Are Modern Aminos Products Labeled “Not for Human Consumption”?

Modern Aminos products are sold strictly for Research Use Only (RSO) and are available exclusively to qualified researchers operating in controlled laboratory environments. These products are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for human or veterinary use, including but not limited to clinical trials, therapeutic applications, or consumption of any kind.

Modern Aminos operates in accordance with regulatory standards, including Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA), and restricts product availability to professional research applications.

Why does the peptide powder in the vial appear clumpy or powdery?

This is normal. Peptide powders may appear as a solid mass but can break up into powder during shipping. This does not affect the quality or purity of the product.

Peptides may take time to dissolve, especially if they are hydrophobic. Gently roll the vial between your fingers to help dissolve the powder, but avoid shaking it to prevent damage to the peptides.

Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides are stable at room temperature for up to two years. Once reconstituted, store them in the refrigerator to maintain their integrity.

It refers to the freeze-dried state of peptides, ensuring stability for long periods at room temperature. Refrigeration is only necessary after reconstitution.

By purchasing from Modern Aminos, you agree and confirm that you will not consume or administer these products under any circumstances. While there is plenty of information online about MOTS-C, we do not provide research or usage guidance as those go against multiple laws and guidelines. By purchasing from Modern Aminos, you confirm that you are a qualified researcher and will not ingest our products.

What should I do if my order is delayed?

Delivery times are approximate and not guaranteed. Once an item leaves our facility it is under the control of the carrier. If there’s a significant delay, we will work with you to find a satisfactory solution, such as discounts or partial refunds.

Yes, Modern Aminos ships to the USA, EU, and Canada. EU customers should order through modernaminos.eu. Canadian customers should use https://modernaminos.ca  Please note the EU and CA will not have the exact same products as the USA!

Contact us immediately to correct the address. If your order has already shipped, it must be returned to us before reshipping.

If there’s no movement for 8-10 days, contact us. After this time, we will consider the package lost and issue a reshipment. Packages oftentimes will sit in the same place in the USPS system for 2-4 days at a time before moving!

We trust USPS (United States Postal Service) for all our shipments. USPS has proven to be reliable, and we can even ship to P.O. Boxes when necessary.

We highly recommend against using shipping forwarders as customers have had tons of issues with them before. Use a shipping forwarder at your own risk. 

We process a large volume of orders daily, and while USPS may log the tracking information, there may be a delay in updating the status at the sorting facility. Please allow 1-2 business days for the system to reflect the latest updates.

Orders are typically processed and shipped the same day M-F. As we ship from within the USA, expect fast delivery no matter your chosen payment method. Please note that during global disruptions or holidays, delays may occur due to reduced staff at USPS.

While this is extremely unfortunate we always make it our goal to get products out especially those with expedited shipping as fast as possible. Once a product leaves our warehouse it is out of our control, and at times the postal service takes longer than they should. What if I paid for my order, but it says it was canceled?

This is a rare system error. Please email cs@modernaminos.com, and we will ensure your order is processed correctly.

Unfortunately, many credit card processors are unwilling to work with peptide companies despite our compliance with all legal guidelines. . With this we strive to offer alternative and secure payment methods that are easy to use. 

We make it our goal at Modern Aminos to provide you with easy and secure payment options. Unfortunately despite us following all rules and regulations perfectly, certain payment processors are not able to or become not able to work with us leading to us having to not accept them anymore. 

What if my product arrives damaged?

Email cs@modernaminos.com with your order number, a clear photo of the damage, and a description. We will arrange a free reshipment of the damaged product

Contact us, and we will promptly reship the correct items free of charge.

Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns. However, we will resolve any issues with your order promptly. 

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis by our customer support team. Provide the following information when inquiring about a refund:

    • Order #
    • Issue with order (including pictures)
    • Payment method

 

Our goal is to resolve all customer issues fairly. Due to the complex nature of refunds at times we will typically seek to correct the issue through other means like reshipping the correct products.

We ship only within the USA
No, we are a research peptide and research compound supply company, and our products are meant for research purposes only.
After reconstitution, we recommend storing your research peptides in the fridge.

Orders

Orders are packaged and shipped out by our fulfillment team Mon-Fri, and most Saturdays. Orders placed and paid for after 12pm CST will ship out the following day.
Once placing your order, you should receive a confirmation, and once shipped, a tracking email. If you have opted for SMS notifications, you will receive these same confirmations via SMS. If you haven’t received a confirmation email, check your spam folder.

Packages can be lost by couriers for a period of time, or they can miss getting scanned in transit, but often they will update within a matter of days.  If the tracking does not update for 7 days, reach out to our customer service.   

The best first course of action is to check all possible areas your package could have been delivered. This includes all doors, mailbox, mailroom or garage door. Additionally, check with next-door neighbors, as carriers can misdeliver. Sometimes the tracking on a package can show delivered a day or two before it actually arrives to you. Please allow up to 48 hours before concluding it is lost.
If you received a damaged item in your order, please provide pictures to us within 7 days of receiving your order so we can verify the damaged item. Once verified, we will ship you a replacement.
