How long do orders take to ship?
We typically aim to ship orders within 1-2 business days. Please note that we do not ship on weekends. During high-volume sales periods, such as big promotional events, shipping times may extend slightly by an additional day or two.
Do you ship internationally or only in the US?
Yes, Modern Aminos ships to the USA and the EU. For customers in the EU, please visit our dedicated EU site at modernaminos.eu to place your order. We are unable to deliver to U.S. Territories, including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, or to U.S. Military bases.
What if I receive my tracking number, but the package isn’t moving in the USPS network?
Once your order leaves our facility, it is the responsibility of the shipping carrier to deliver your package. While it’s rare, there are occasional delays where packages may not move for 5-6 days but still arrive successfully.
If your package has not shown any movement for 10 days, please contact us, and we will investigate. If necessary, we will reship your order at that point.
What if my order arrives with missing or damaged items?
If your order is missing items, we will gladly reship them to you free of charge. Please email us at cs@modernaminos.com with your order number and details.
For damaged items, you are entitled to either a refund or a replacement. To help us process this quickly, include a photo of the damaged product(s) in your email.
What if I don’t receive an order confirmation email?
Occasionally, order confirmation emails may fail to send due to technical issues. If this happens, please email cs@modernaminos.com with your order number. We will promptly provide your confirmation and tracking details. Make sure to also check your spam folder as at times they can go there.
What if I paid for my order, but it says it was cancelled?
This is a rare system error that can occur. If you encounter this issue, please email our customer support team at cs@modernaminos.com, and we will promptly ensure that your order is confirmed and processed correctly.

Why are your products labeled “Not for Human Consumption”?
The products sold at Modern Aminos are strictly for use by licensed researchers in qualified laboratories. These products are intended solely for research purposes and should only be handled by professionals qualified to conduct such research. Under no circumstances are our products to be used by or on humans.
How Should I Store My Peptides?
Peptides should be stored in a cold environment, such as a refrigerator, to maintain their integrity and reduce degradation over time.
How Should I Store My Aminos?
Most amino blends can be stored at room temperature. However, exceptions like glutathione and NAD+ should be stored in a cold environment to ensure their stability and effectiveness.
Do your products have an expiration date?
No, our compounds do not expire. They are designed to last over a year, and even beyond that point, they may only experience slight degradation rather than becoming ineffective.

How to Structure Emails for Fastest Resolution?
To ensure the fastest resolution to your inquiries, please structure your customer service emails as follows. We aim to respond to all emails within 24 hours during the standard business week. Please note that during holidays, response times may be slightly longer.

Why Are Modern Aminos Products Labeled “Not for Human Consumption”?
Modern Aminos products are sold strictly for Research Use Only (RSO) and are available exclusively to qualified researchers operating in controlled laboratory environments. These products are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for human or veterinary use, including but not limited to clinical trials, therapeutic applications, or consumption of any kind.
Modern Aminos operates in accordance with regulatory standards, including Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA), and restricts product availability to professional research applications.
Important Notice: Modern Aminos does not provide guidance, advice, or recommendations regarding product usage or applications. Researchers are solely responsible for consulting appropriate and qualified experts to establish and adhere to proper research protocols.
Why does the peptide powder in the vial appear clumpy or powdery?
This is normal. Peptide powders may appear as a solid mass but can break up into powder during shipping. This does not affect the quality or purity of the product.
Why does it take time to dissolve peptides during reconstitution?
Peptides may take time to dissolve, especially if they are hydrophobic. Gently roll the vial between your fingers to help dissolve the powder, but avoid shaking it to prevent damage to the peptides.
How should peptides be stored?
Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides are stable at room temperature for up to two years. Once reconstituted, store them in the refrigerator to maintain their integrity.
What does "Lyophilized" mean?
It refers to the freeze-dried state of peptides, ensuring stability for long periods at room temperature. Refrigeration is only necessary after reconstitution.
How should amino blends be stored?
Most amino blends can be stored at room temperature. Exceptions like glutathione and NAD+ should be stored in a cool environment like a refrigerator to ensure stability.
How should other products be stored?
Store in a cool, dark, and dry spot away from sunlight to maintain quality and integrity.
How Can I Verify the Quality of Your Products?
Are your products safe to ingest?
No, our products are not safe to ingest. All products sold by Modern Aminos are intended strictly for research purposes and are not approved for human consumption. Ingesting any of these products can pose significant health risks. By purchasing from Modern Aminos, you agree and confirm that you will not consume or administer these products under any circumstances. These products are for use by qualified researchers in controlled laboratory environments only.
Where can I find more information on specific products like MOTS-C?
While there is plenty of information online about MOTS-C, we do not provide research or usage guidance as those go against multiple laws and guidelines. By purchasing from Modern Aminos, you confirm that you are a qualified researcher and will not ingest our products.
What should I do if my order is delayed?
Delivery times are approximate and not guaranteed. Once an item leaves our facility it is under the control of the carrier. If there’s a significant delay, we will work with you to find a satisfactory solution, such as discounts or partial refunds.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, Modern Aminos ships to the USA, EU, and Canada. EU customers should order through modernaminos.eu. Canadian customers should use https://modernaminos.ca Please note the EU and CA will not have the exact same products as the USA!
What if I enter incorrect shipping information?
Contact us immediately to correct the address. If your order has already shipped, it must be returned to us before reshipping.
What should I do if my package doesn’t move in the USPS system?
If there’s no movement for 8-10 days, contact us. After this time, we will consider the package lost and issue a reshipment. Packages oftentimes will sit in the same place in the USPS system for 2-4 days at a time before moving!
Which courier do you use for shipping?
We trust USPS (United States Postal Service) for all our shipments. USPS has proven to be reliable, and we can even ship to P.O. Boxes when necessary.
Can I Use A Shipping Forwarder to Get My Package?
We highly recommend against using shipping forwarders as customers have had tons of issues with them before. Use a shipping forwarder at your own risk.
Why does USPS show my order in the system, but there’s no tracking update yet?
We process a large volume of orders daily, and while USPS may log the tracking information, there may be a delay in updating the status at the sorting facility. Please allow 1-2 business days for the system to reflect the latest updates.
How long does it take to process my order?
Orders are typically processed and shipped the same day M-F. As we ship from within the USA, expect fast delivery no matter your chosen payment method. Please note that during global disruptions or holidays, delays may occur due to reduced staff at USPS.
What should I do if my order is delayed?

I Paid For Expedited Shipping and My Product Is Late
While this is extremely unfortunate we always make it our goal to get products out especially those with expedited shipping as fast as possible. Once a product leaves our warehouse it is out of our control, and at times the postal service takes longer than they should. If this happens please reach out to our customer service team at cs@modernaminos.com where we will make the issue right.
I haven’t received an email response regarding my order—what should I do?
Please check your spam/junk folder. Our system sends automated emails including order confirmations, shipping updates, and tracking information. If you haven’t received these, feel free to contact us at cs@modernaminos.com for assistance.

Why don’t you accept traditional payment methods?
Unfortunately, many credit card processors are unwilling to work with peptide companies despite our compliance with all legal guidelines. . With this we strive to offer alternative and secure payment methods that are easy to use.
Why Do Your Guys Payment Methods Change?
We make it our goal at Modern Aminos to provide you with easy and secure payment options. Unfortunately despite us following all rules and regulations perfectly, certain payment processors are not able to or become not able to work with us leading to us having to not accept them anymore.
What if my product arrives damaged?
Email cs@modernaminos.com with your order number, a clear photo of the damage, and a description. We will arrange a free reshipment of the damaged product
What if my package is missing products or contains the wrong items?
Contact us, and we will promptly reship the correct items free of charge.
Do you accept returns?
Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns. However, we will resolve any issues with your order promptly.
Do you issue refunds?
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis by our customer support team. Provide the following information when inquiring about a refund:

Our goal is to resolve all customer issues fairly. Due to the complex nature of refunds at times we will typically seek to correct the issue through other means like reshipping the correct products.

The tracking for my order is not updating!
Packages can be lost by couriers for a period of time, or they can miss getting scanned in transit, but often they will update within a matter of days. If the tracking does not update for 7 days, reach out to our customer service.
